BPI re-joins Europharm SMC
The German Pharmaceutical Industry Association (BPI) is joining Europharm SMC again and is looking forward to being a member of the board.
BPI will actively support the goals and objectives of the association in creating a better environment for pharmaceutical companies in Europe.
BPI is the strong alliance of pharmaceutical companies and represents the industry along the entire value chain in Germany and Europe. With nearly 75 years of experience and competence in drug research, development, authorization, manufacturing and marketing, BPI is Germany`s national industry association which represents the pharmaceutical industry with all its variety. BPI’s members comprise the whole spectrum of the pharmaceutical industry, ranging from large enterprises, multinational corporations to SMEs, Mid-Caps as well as Start-ups.
These companies ensure drug supply for all patients across the European Union and globally. In addition to our Berlin headquarters with more than 40 staff, BPI also has six regional associations in some German federal states as well as a Brussels liaison office. Ever since its inauguration in 2008 the Brussels office is following European legislative processes and is actively engaging with European policymakers from all European Institutions.
Members benefit from a wide range of services. BPI provides exclusive analyses and crucial information and support. Current topics are presented and discussed in more than 18 committees and 40 working groups. By engaging with decision-makers at federal, regional and EU level and promoting common interest of the industry, we help to shape the framework which fosters a flourishing environment for the industry. BPI’s main objectives are to create attractive conditions for research, development and production in Europe, guaranteeing security of supply of medicinal products for European citizens.
Being part of the Europharm SMC network, the BPI is looking forward to welcoming Europharm SMC members to its ranks.
